Lindstedt announces resignation from Broomfield City Council

William Lindstedt, who was elected last month to represent Colorado House District 33, officially announced his resignation from the Broomfield City Council effective Jan. 8. Lindstedt released a letter to Broomfield Mayor Guyleen Castriotta, his fellow councilmembers and the Broomfield community on Wednesday announcing his resignation. 'It is with great gratitude and some sadness that I formally announce my resignation as a City Councilmember for Ward 2, effective January 8, 2023, in order to continue serving the greater Broomfield community as their voice in the Colorado House of Representatives,' Lindstedt wrote.
